The Chest Rig tactical vest is made of durable and abrasion-resistant 700D IRR Cordura, which counters recognition by residual light amplifiers (night vision devices). The Tasmanian Tiger MK II Chest Rig is equipped with two side cargo pockets closed with a two-way zipper and five cargo pouches closed with Velcro (velcro) flaps for rifle magazines for M4, M16, STG. The vest is equipped with a pocket for carrying ballistic cartridges.
Horizontal mounting straps compatible with the MOLLE/PALS system have been sewn on the pockets (pouches), allowing the vest to be expanded with additional pouches and pockets. On each shoulder there are D-rings and straps for mounting an additional loader, flashlight, knife. Comfort during long wearing is ensured by wide suspenders and the main panel, which is trimmed with soft non-slip Mesh and lined with foam to ensure air circulation. The vest is vertically and horizontally adjustable. It is fastened with a belt in the lower back and two harnesses.
A sewn-in velcro panel allows the attachment of any patches or emblems, such as the national flag, unit emblem or so-called Morale Patches, so that the vest can be given an individual character.
The Tasmanian Tiger Chest Rig MK II IRR vest complies with German Bundeswehr standards TL 8305-0278 and TL 8305-0281 for the IRR camouflage effect (IRR 650 - 1250nm/10 - 42%).
